Marine environments and ocean wildlife need our help to restore their health. Plastic and pollution pose a growing threat to as the world creates and disposes of plastic at a much faster rate than it can be sustainably managed. It’s estimated 80% of all ocean plastic originates from land-based sources, such as litter and inefficient recycling and recovery systems.
